Somerset Soldiers, American Civil War, Confederate Officer saying farewell to lady in 54mm. The Somerset Miniatures Lead Figure Range 54mm approx. This is a very Rare and Vintage Set from Somerset Ltd , from the American Civil War era, a mounted Confederate Officer saying fond farewell to a lady in 54mm. Its quite a heart wrenching little diorama as the lady is seen to be clutching at the soldier , while the Officer bends low to say soothing words no doubt. This set seems to be the rarest of rare, and a company called Worthpoint has said that in 25 years this is the only Farewell themed figure set ever produced.

In 25 years of collecting it is the only "farewell" theme I've seen. Figures and pieces with few if any paint flaws seen, and in superb overall condition looking like they have never been out of the box. Box may is the original and has some age related wear to it , mainly rub to edges but in good condition still.
