17 VTG American Civil War Lead Soldiers Confederate Union New York Vol. Presented is a great set of 17 vintage lead soldiers.

They look like mostly American Civil War soldiers, possibly all are; they came with two old pieces of paper, one saying "Regular Infantry Regiment Confederate Army, 1861" and another, 20th New York Voluntary Infantry Regiment Union Army 1861. The set consists of eight Confederate and six Union soldiers, mostly with bayonets, but the Confederate side has a drummer and bugle player. The remaining four figures are the ones with 38 written somewhere on their bases; two have grey uniforms, one a dark blue or black with red details, and one a brown/tan uniform with grey pants. Well cast and fairly well painted. These figurines are in great overall condition.

The paint seems to be mostly intact. Please view all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Some of the Union figures are marked "Republic of South Africa" on the underside or just "South Africa" on the upper side of the base.

No marks to the Confederates that I could find. The four misfits all have "38" handwritten on their bases and three are marked Eire. The figures are about 50-55mm tall. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution.
